Hire wing foil equipment

Please only book rental equipment if you can already wing surf to a competent level OR you have also booked onto a supported session (with safety boat cover).

For hire only: you must hold Third Party Public Liability Insurance and will be asked to present this on the day. We are unable to rent any equipment if you fail to prove you have sufficient cover and no refund will be given.

If you have also booked boat support then insurance is not required.

You will be asked to leave a form of ID (driving license, bank card) for the duration you have the equipment.

We will advise you of costs for items to repair or replace if they are damaged or lost in your care. You will also have the option to pay £10 insurance on the day, which reduces the repair and replacement costs by 50%.

FAQ

What is the difference between wing surfing and wing foiling?

Wing surfing is using a SUP board with an inflatable wing to sail across the wind. This is perfect for when the conditions are too windy to just stand up paddleboard.

Wing foiling is using a hydrofoil with your board to rise and glide above the water. This is more challenging but great fun!

We always recommend that you start with a wing surfing first if you have no previous wing foiling experience.

Do I need experience?

You must be competent at wing surfing before you can hire equipment.

Contact us if you want to discuss your ability with us first.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

You will be asked to leave a form of ID (driving license, bank card) for the duration you have the equipment.

What's the minimum age for hiring equipment?

What if the weather is bad on the day of my lesson?

We are very lucky in this area and rarely need to cancel a session but if we do (as mother nature has other plans) we’ll inform you before the day your session is booked with as much notice as possible and happily arrange another date/time to rebook your session.
